One of the nicest things about living in a house with lots of windows surrounded by mature trees is the lovely dappled leave sun pin hole images you get dancing around the rooms at different times of the day.
We have a a south facing bed room (and house) so on (rare) sunny days we are often treated to a glorious rising sun over the sea followed by swaying shadowy patterns on the walls, the intensity determined by the time of year and day, the height and power of the sun and the strength of the seemingly ceaseless wind down the lane! Downstairs in the sitting room we have four windows in three walls giving an all day round endless picture show of interesting shadows and reflections.
It makes for a constant living art display but impossible to photograph well so I took some of the trees down the lane with the evening setting sunlight upon them instead.
